I want a Hispanic name for my baby- I know Iris is a Greek name but would it work for a Hispanic baby?

I think you should name your baby whatever makes you happy. I named my boys Juan and Jose and everyone swears that I gave them spanish names for the hell of it but their dad is from Panama and that is a part of his culture. Anyway, do what makes you happy and don't worry about what anyone else thinks of YOUR baby's name. Good Luck.

Reply:Uh sure. I've seen Hispanic people alter names to sound more uh hispanic anyway so I don't see whats the problem. Iris is a pretty name. You can always make the middle name more "traditionally" spanish.
