Roman greek deities/ iris greek god!!?
Iris is frequently mentioned as a divine messenger in the Iliad which is attributed to Homer, but does not appear in the other work attributed to him, the Odyssey, where Hermes fills that role. Like Hermes, also known as Mercury.......

go to wikipedia.org and search for iris (mythology)

Hope this helps
Reply:The Roman deity of Iris was called "Iris." She didn't have a different name like the other Greek gods and goddesses.
Reply:unlike what the other answerer said, Iris and Hermes are two SEPERATE gods.

mercury is most like Iris (and hermes) but there might have been a lesser god closer to iris.
