My gorgeous, almost black, iris hadn't bloomed for years and last year they did. The flowers, blooming now, are no higher than the leaves. Yes, they are crowded but prolific. Could this height be because they're crowded? Originally they were2-3 feet tall!
Why are my iris flowers only 8" tall?
dig it up and seperate it and you will get lots of new plants.
