Iris colour?

What part of the iris (circular or radial muscles) gives eye colour and why does the iris have a colour at all?

Iris colour?
The iris has color due to melanin, the same pigment that gives hair and skin their color. This is the reason why fair-skinned people would also more likely have lighter-colored irises.
Reply:melanin in iris gives colour to our iris.it,s for absourbing some lights that there are in my arround that they arent nessessary for seeing.
