Water Iris trouble!?

I bought a new water Iris a couple of weeks ago (Iris Pseudacorus; Yellow Water Iris) and is was in very good condition. However, since then it doesn't seem to be doing very well with the leaves going yellowy and curling, when they were a lovely green before. I've tried changing it's position in the pond and also the depth (currently it's pot is about an inch in the water) but it still seems sad. All the other plants I have seem to be doing great apart from this one.

Help! Thanks in advance.

Water Iris trouble!?
This is considered an invasive specie in many states and it is one which will take over and choke waterways very quickly. Since you are having problems with it I suspect that it is transplant shock. It takes about 2 years for them to get established and start growing and flowering.
Reply:Pseudacorus iris is a very vigorous and invasive plant, so I am surprised that yours is not doing well. Perhaps it just needs a while to get used to being outdoors, if it was kept in a garden center greenhouse before. Wait a few weeks before worrying.

It is a marginal plant, and can grow in a few inches of water or on damp soil, so your spot in 1 inch is probably fine.
