8 week old siberian husky with blue eyes on top half of iris's only. Will they turn blue all the way?

When he was 6 weeks old they were barely blue but over the past 2 weeks they have slowly gotten more blue about half way down his iris and I am curious if it will continue or does it stop at a certain age?

Sounds like he has what is called a parti eye. It will probably be his permanent color(s).





A husky can come in any color or combination of color(s) ranging from pure white to pure black and anything in between. The eyes can be any color or combination of colors including light blue to dark blue, green. amber to dark brown. They can have two of the same color, one of each (bi-eyed) or eyes that have two colors in the same eye (parti-eyed). Any of these are normal. As you can see there is no correlation between their coat and eye colors. Even double parti eye can happen (Jake).








25 years of being owned by Siberian Huskies. I currently have 14 Huskies most of whom were rescued by us from people who didn’t know what they were getting into.
Reply:It's hard to say how it's going to be permanently but what he has now is called a Parti-eye. Go to www.howlnwind.com and look at the puppies if they have any. some of them have bi eyes and parti eyes etc.
