Contacts making my eyes red, with orange around my iris?
Have you been to the Ophthalmologist lately? The CL's may not fit right, or they may need to be replaced (Soft lenses get protein build-up, and need to be replaced). Anyway, could be an infection called Iritis. With a history of aa Corneal Ulcer, you should be very carefull...you can go blind from improper wearing/caring of CL's. Good Luck!
Reply:Sure it's not the light coming through and casting a light of colors?%26gt;

Maybe you should change the prescription...Or wear glasses/?
Reply:Eyes are natrually white inside it. well, next to the iris and pupil.

You bought contacts that change your eye color around your eyes.
Reply:u should go and see the doc. when i first got mine it did that and my contact had a infection when they shipped it to me
Reply:When the vessels at the limbus, where the white sclera meets the clear cornea, become engorged, it appears as a pinkish or mild red color around the cornea. This is called ciliary injection.

Your contacts are not fitting correctly. They are probably too tight and don't move enough to allow for the tears to wash over the cornea as you blink. This exchange of tears is fairly important...the lack of oxygen to your cornea is causing it to 'complain'.

This isn't an ulcer, nor an infection...not yet.

Have the people who fit the lenses take a look at how they are riding on your corneas. If they aren't moving enough, they're too tight or the base curve is fairly close to your corneal curves and the lens is getting sucked onto the cornea.

If the lens is too flat, it'll move too much and get lost up there or down or over or ?
Reply:Hmm, it could be a reflection on the contacts? Or maybe your contacts were poorly made and you should buy some new ones.
