Is there something wrong with my eye/iris?

There are parts of my eye/iris that look like holes, does this mean there is something wrong?

Here are two pictures... (same picture, the second one has the hole looking things circled)

Nothing at all.

They go by the impressive-sounding name

"Crypts of Fuch" (pronounced "fook")

They are a normal varation: some people have more, some fewer. See picture below

They can be shallower or deeper. They mean nothing.

(One exception: CHANGE in an iris always needs reporting)
Reply:No. What you are pointing to is a normal structure of the irs called the iris stroma. They are basically the fibers of the iris that are interlocking to form it. It appears like 'holes' because you are looking at the meshwork of the fibers. Those 'holes' are not the pupil. The pupil is in the center of the iris. The pupil is not a true structure but an opening in the iris.
Reply:This is normal iris structure, everybody has them.
Reply:everyones iris is actually a hole allowing light to come through it so you can see. don't freak its normal
Reply:No, we all have that...truth is it does look weird but also if i took a picture of my eyes it would come out the same way too.

So don't fret its naturally like that
Reply:it's a very normal appearance of the iris. i see the same things everyday under a biomicroscope!
