i wouldn't worry about it but see your eye doctor anyways
Reply:Do some research on the topic of IRIDOLOGY (the study of the iris' markings, as relates to the body's health).

The light ring may indicate excess sodium, I'm not sure.
Reply:maybe your eyes are changing coliour, go see an eye doctor
Reply:I'd say:"either your eyes are having a pigment change or,some sort of eye infection that's hard to see."

Alert your optomitrist about this, and see what he or she says about it.

Reply:I think we all have that, especially in different light. I have seen that in almost everyone, I don't think it is anything to worry about or there would be many people at the optometrist. Mine were blue and now have turned green and I have them and all I see do,====
Reply:from what the picture shows its called Arcus... look it up on the net... it can be associated with some health issues like high cholesterol.... id have your eye doc look at it
Reply:your eyes are probably just going through some changes. sometimes that happens as people get older. lol i really don't think you're going blind..cause your vision would start to dramatically get worse. my whole life my eyes were dark brown up until about 2 years ago..i'm 19 now and they are VERY light, bright brown..kinda freaky since they used to be pretty dark but they're really pretty.
Reply:The picture looks like " arcus senilis". I gather you are young-----There is another condition which can cause a similar ring, that can be a sign of a potentially serious problem.

It requires an Ophthamologist and a slit-lamp examination to be sure it is not a Keyser-Fleisher ring . That ring is a deposit of copper seen in Wilson's disease. If you are young, I would see an Ophthamologist first. If he says it looks like a K-F ring, take that information to your Internist.
Reply:Despite what people think most people's eyes do not change colour as an adult especially not people with Brown eyes. Not only that but the colour s on the outside of the Iris, not the inside. I have seen this on many people with Brown eyes.

Stop tryna be special.
