Are there any known treatments for Colombo of the iris??

This is a condition in which parts of the iris are missing due to birth defects or serious eye trauma. It decreases visual accuity and impairs night vision.

Are there any known treatments for Colombo of the iris??
I believe the only thing available (I could be wrong) for a coloboma of the iris is to treat it cosmetically. This is done with a special contact lens that is colored to cover up the mishapen portion of the iris. This should also help reduce the amount of light that is let in through the mishapen portion.
