Is it possible to permanetly change your iris color?

as it says i was wondering if theres anyway to change your iris (the colored band around your pupil) color for good, like a dye or something, i know you can buy colored contact lenses, but those can be troublesome to get, and are fragile

Is it possible to permanetly change your iris color?
I've never heard of that one, I know they can do all sorts of lasik surgeries %26amp; such, but I don't think they have any that can change the eye color. That would be great if they did though, I'd like to change my eye color too
Reply:yes you can

Reply:interesting thought! my friends and i were just discussing this not too long ago. we agreed that of course it would be cool to just change your eye color permanently, but it causes a lot of trouble. your iris color helps define you because it is like a fingerprint. it probably would be possible with our technology but just not ideal.

hope this helped.

Reply:Good question, I've never heard of anyone doing so, but it would be pretty awesome if you could. I would make both eyes different like a dog.
Reply:No.

Reply:No you can't. That would be cool though. Remember in Wizard of Oz they talked about being able to dye Dorthy's eyes to match her gown. That would be great but unfortunately just a fantasy.
