The song was used in the movie City of Angels...supposedly it was because in the movie the angels never blinked so it was suppose to have a relevant factor to that..hope that helps

Reply:John liked the name. As the story goes, he saw the name Iris Diment (Dement?) in LA Weekly and liked the name. Song has nothing to do with her other than that.
