How do you remove iris dust from wood. The center of the iris covered in a dust that is used for dye! Help!?

Oops learned the hard way. Best to remove them with a scissors and paper towel when you get the flowers or when they open before they can drop pollen on wood or tablecloth. Nasty stuff. You might have to use chlorine or a soft scrub cleaner with chlorine. Be gentle with your wood, don't want to scratch it. Another method is to put a few drops of water on it and pile up baking soda and let it dry completely. Then remove. Might have to repeat. Baking soda is a fine polish and can be removed without any danger. :)
