Is it common to have a dark grayish ring around the iris of the eye?

My eyes are kind of brown with a tiny bit of green mixed in it and I have a dark greyish ring around each iris.

It's just your pigmentation and nothing to fret about.
Reply:Yes. My sister has grey-blue eyes--they change--but she has grey rings aroung her irises sometimes. Don't worry!
Reply:One of the most fascinating things about studying people is looking closely into their eyes. After just a few, you discover that everyone's eyes are different. A unique color I saw in a high school friend was gold. It was a soft, golden toast brown. I have never seen another person with that color eyes. This was long before colored contacts.

So your brown, with green, and dark gray ring are unique, yet not unusual because we are all different. Study others' eyes.
Reply:I believe so. I have the same thing, it's like a gray/silver ring around the iris. Maybe it's the eye color because my eyes are similar to that.
